Lindsey and Nick offered marriage advice in honor of their first anniversary. It turns out this couple enjoys giving advice. “I think we’re good at it,” Lindsey said. Nick stood by her side, nodding yes.. So they’ve agreed to offer their words of wisdom from time to time.
Dear Lindsey and Nick: How did you know that you love each other enough to get married? ~Kristi Rieger Campbell, Finding Ninee
Nick: I was acting goofy and talking about Lindsey all the time. My Mom said, “Nick, I think you’re in love.” I got a big smile on my face and knew I loved Lindsey enough to marry her.
Lindsey: I was ready for awhile but I didn’t tell anyone because I needed to wait for Nick to be ready. We didn’t want to rush into marriage so we dated for seven years.
Nick: I had butterflies. All the time.
Lindsey: I thought Nick was cute. He’s my hunka hunka burning love. He was in my heart. I was feeling good whenever we were together and knew we’d be together forever.
Nick: For a long time I didn’t know what love was. But Lindsey was a beautiful woman and I wanted to be with her.
Lindsey: I thought marriage would be fun and easy, but it’s not. It’s hard work. I don’t want to lose Nick.
Nick: I don’t want to lose Lindsey.
Lindsey and Nick: So we have to work at being married every single day. If you’re gonna get married, you need to be ready to work at it too.
